A Christmas Tree. It is Christmas time. You may be interested in an easy activity about this topic to work with beginners. Students only need to know some colours and numbers from 1 to 8. Teach the vocabulary (Star, Santa, Snowman, Baby Jesus, Bell, Christmas Pudding, Christmas Card and Presents) with flashcards and the techniques you consider appropriate. Then do a colour dictation (i.e."Santa is red, the star is yellow......."). Students colour, cut out and hang everything on the tree following oral instructions (i.e. "Santa is No. 1...., the star goes on No. 7, put presents on No. 8"). Worksheet to be printed.
